Director of Operations, Certified Home Inspector
Stéphane Blanchard has worked for AmeriSpec since 2001, performing over 8,500 residential and commercial inspections. He is a Certified Building Inspector, as well as a member of the Quebec Association of Building Inspectors (AIBQ), the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspection (CAPHI), and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and has also acquired Thermography level 1. Stéphane is a careful, meticulous and conscientious inspector. Without being an alarmist, he knows how to explain – in an easy to understand way – the more complex problems, so that customers understand the state of the desired property. Still involved in home renovation today, he takes part in ongoing training sessions and even attended specialized training (ASTM Standard E 2018-08) for inspection of commercial buildings at the Carson Dunlop Weldon ENGINEERING firm in 2015. In 2005, he took on the responsibility of providing practical training to our inspectors and continues to be a leader today. Stéphane is considered one of our leaders here and is fully bilingual, so he is happy to serve you in both English and French.

Susie joined our family at AmeriSpec in 2005 as a part-timer, helping in the writing and editing of inspection reports. She took a strong interest in the quality of our services and demonstrated her strong professional and interpersonal qualities. Today, Susie is now in charge of special projects, customer service, quality control, marketing and the proper functioning of the company.
Since the founding of the company, Lucie has overseen the quality of the inspection reports, ensuring there is a reliable connection between the work of the inspector and the written report. For over 20 years, she has been the right hand of the late Yves L’Archevêque – our pioneer and former director of operations. Lucie is in charge of training the office staff and also responsible for our phone services, making appointments and scheduling inspectors.
In 2004, Hélène became part of our AmeriSpec team, starting in the Rénoclimat Quebec government program department. During that period, Hélène explained the government programs to customers, took appointments, and made sure to follow up so that clients could benefit from the subsidies available. Today, she oversees the quality of the inspection reports, ensuring reliable connections between the work of the inspector and the written report. Helen is also responsible for the telephone service, making appointments and scheduling inspectors.
